3A. Who Does the Work, and Insurance Claims

Who you contract with. This Site is run by Matt Spencer, an individual. "Spencer Roofing" is the name of this Site, not a separate company. Matt Spencer works as a roofing project manager and independent contractor. Any roofing work is done only under a separate written contract, and that contract names the party you are contracting with and who performs the work.

Insurance claims. We are a roofing contractor, not a public adjuster, insurance adjuster, or insurance company. We can document roof damage, meet your insurance adjuster on site as your contractor if you ask us to, and give you a repair scope and price. We do not file, negotiate, or settle insurance claims for you, and we do not represent you to your insurance company. You and your insurance company decide and settle your claim.

No promised outcomes. Nothing on this Site, in our emails, or from the AI chat assistant is a promise or prediction that a claim will be approved, what your policy covers, or how much your insurer will pay. Ask your insurance company or agent about your coverage.
